NEW HAVEN SCHOOLS PARTNERS WITH COMMUNITY TO DONATE
1,000 TURKEY DINNERS TO NEW HAVEN FAMILIES
District Teams up With Community Partners to Feed 1,000
New Haven Families!
What:
Truck Loading Press
Event! New Haven Public Schools, under the Direction of
Dr. Reginald Mayo, Superintendent and Will Clark, Chief
Operating Officer, will donate the fixings for a
Traditional Thanksgiving Dinner including a Turkey and
Apple Pie to 1,000 New Haven families through our
schools! Volunteers & community members from NH School
Food, AFB Facilities Management, Lindley Food Services
and others packed the 1,000 boxes with food at the NHPS
Central kitchen in just over an hour!
All the food was paid for through sponsorship and
through donations to S. Youth Foundation-New Haven, a
registered 501c3 nonprofit organization. For more

New Haven School Food is excited to be a partner
working with so many diverse community groups towards
the day when all families in New Haven are no longer at
